Antenatal Consultation (90 minutes) £120
Breastfeeding involves 2 people and is a new skill for both to learn. Many mothers experience some early day challenges, just as we have with any new skill, and benefit from gentle guidance and reassurance to build confidence. Antenatal preparation will give you the knowledge and skill to establish breastfeeding in the first hours and early days after giving birth. The session covers: how to advocate for yourself in the hospital setting, practical aspects of skin-to-skin contact, common challenges, and what is normal/ not normal in the first few days and early weeks.
