A typical postnatal breastfeeding consultation lasts around two to three hours and takes place in your home. During this time, I will listen carefully and validate your concerns, creating a calm and supportive space for you to share your experience. We will explore any relevant medical history, previous births or breastfeeding journeys, the details of your most recent birth, and the challenges you’re currently facing. Together, we will work through your questions, observe a feed if appropriate, and develop a plan that feels realistic, gentle, and tailored to your needs.
